Welcome to the Under 8 A Team
Latest News - 20th March 2010
Today the Under 8A team travelled to Victoria Road and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Stadium to watch Dagenham and Redbridge take on Macclesfield Town.
After a couple of pints the parents joined the boys on the terrace. Before kick off each of the players briefly met Terry Harris, the assistant manager of Dagenham and Redbridge.
The game itself saw an uneventful first half with Macclesfield taking the lead with a shot through a crowded penalty area. The Daggers improved dramaticaly after the break and three good goals followed from Danny Green (x2) and Abu Ogogo.
The Under 8s were thrilled about this and started to join in the singing.
Well done Danny, Louis, Tyler, Calum, Kwasi and George, I hope you enjoyed the day and make it back next time round for kids for a quid day against Accrington Stanley!

About Us
Formed in 2007 this side have steadily progressed. We have managed to keep the core of the side that started that year with one or two additions and the odd departure.
In fact the side that has been regular this season includes five of those who started the teams very first game back on 9th February 2007 in a three nil defeat to EMH.
Since then the team has gone from strength to strength and every player who has worn the shirt has been important for the sides journey.
2007/08 - Under 6
As mentioned our first game was in February 2008 in preparation for festival football at Under 7s for the start of the 08/09 season. In total we played nine friendly matches culminating in a prestige friendly against the West Ham Youth Academy.
Our record for that season read; P9 W3 D2 L4 F14 A19
At the end of this season we played two summer tournaments, holding our own in both the excellent Forest Glade 5-a-side and Hutton Tournament, recording a W7 L3 record in total, showing our gradual improvement.
2008/09 - Under 7

Our first full season and one of massive improvement throughout. The squad started to bond well together on and off the pitch and after a tough friendly campaign at the start of the season where we failed to register a win we went on to win all six of our Echo League Friendly matches and got moved up to the top division.
After Christmas we adapted well to the higher standard of football and more than held our own against some excellent sides.
Our record for the season including all games records; P21 W11 D6 L4

Four Summer Tournaments followed including our own competition, the UPR tournament, Tigers 5 a side and our first piece of silverware which was earnt at the Boca Cup.
2009/10 - Under 8
One change of personnel through the summer was unfortunate and the early loss of another tricky forward left us with just seven boys to start the campaign with. Although a lack of numbers has been difficult to deal with it has also brought together a strong organised unit who know how each other play.
A series of testing friendlies at the start of the season yielded two defeats in three games against Under 9 boys and set us on our way to five consecutive clean sheets at the start of the season and an eight game unbeaten run including seven straight wins. This run was ended by an excellent Xcel team.
However, the squad in the first half of 2009/10 has exceeded all expectation and excelled every single week.
