DAGENHAM UNITED U9A 1, BOCA YOUTH 0.
Dagenham produced a much improved display compared to recent league games, and should have really racked up a more convincing scoreline.
From the kick off dagenham seemed intent on avenging the defeat that boca inflicted on them before xmas, showed fluency in their play and pretty much camped in the away teams half.
However, Manager Brian ramsden and indeed all the home teams parents were become increasingly frustrated as various players missed a number of chances, which meant the half time score remained 0-0.
The 2nd half started much the same as the 1st, however, Dagenham eased their frustrations when promising debutant Archie Wallace smacked the ball home after a fine move.
Dagenham continued to attack but Boca battled bravely and never gave in, managed to create a few attacks of their own, but luckily the Daggers defence held strong to preserve the narrow lead.
A good performance and a much needed 3 points were achieved and hopefully we can continue to rise up the table!
Man of the match was awarded to Marley King for an energetic midfield display
